Well, I liked your entry point today better so I took a flyer @ $6.25. An early morning pop from $6.36 would be appreciated!

I need to look at the walk-forward analysis for this to see what the settings are for March (won't really know until the weekend).

Hi Kevin,
Just a quick question.
Your recent calls to take profits on CBMX and BDBD and some others in the past have been bang on as they then declined significantly. I am wondering and curious to know if you have some inside knowledge or what? How do you know when to pull the sell trigger. Is there a secret formula fo rit as I wait for Williams exit.
Would appreciate your thought process on that.

No - just the fear of blowing a good profit of 5% or more. I would have built in a profit stop of 5% into the backtest but because it first requires a 6% pullback (limit order) the backtest always seemed to make money - reason was that you cant tell with EOD data which came first. Anyway, no secret info.

adx(5) needs to be above 45. I do not see HK on my tracking filter for this one.

Guess I have your filter wrong. I had adx 5 above 40 and not 45 as you say.

Given some of the hits to stocks this filtered entered over the last two months, I am reviewing stop losses built into the filter model. I usually don't advocate the use of stop losses but I think in these types of stocks some downside protection might make sense.
I'll report my findings tonight once I can pull together the data.
